I've spent the last fifteen years working as a Licensed Guide at one of America's most prized and revered historical sites. Shortly after college, I earned my ship's Captain's license and worked as a professional mariner for several years. I love the sea, I love history, and I love to explore the world!
I grew up on the Maine coast and fell in love with sailing as a child. My Mom traveled for work and would sometimes take me along. During my senior year of high school I sailed the world on a tall ship. I've visited more than 50 countries so far - and there is so much more to see!
So many places, so little time! Next up are Germany, France, and Spain. In August 2023 I’ll begin the Camino Frances, along with my trusty companion, Webster the Traveling Duck. This is a journey of more than 500 miles from France all the way across Spain on an ancient pilgrimage route! Follow my blog for updates.
